The safety of players, volunteers, and spectators is of utmost importance and we’re asking for everyone’s help to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at our tournament. We have solicited advice from medical professionals to determine guidelines for mitigating the impact of the coronavirus.

Below are the steps we’re taking to keep safety a priority as well as information on how you can help. If you have any questions or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to Email Us.

First and foremost, if you are exhibiting any symptoms of the coronavirus, or if you have been in contact with someone with Covid-19 in the last 14 days, DO NOT PLAY  in the McKinley Mixed. If you have already registered, please Email Us to withdraw and we will work with you to refund your entry fee, minus the cost for the favor. We will deliver the favor to you once you are feeling better.

Greetings and Goodbyes – no need for handshakes. Please use the “racket tap” to greet your opponents and congratulate them on a match well played.

Social distancing – please keep six feet of distance between you and other players, volunteers and spectators. During match play, teams should place belongings on opposite sides of the net posts to avoid crossing the net on the same side.

Masks – all attendees are asked to wear a mask when you need to get within six feet of someone else (checking in for matches, reviewing the draw, picking up your awesome favor or championship towel, etc.).

Hand sanitizer – there will be hand sanitizer available in multiple locations around the courts. We ask that you use it often.

Food and water – we will not provide food or water for players this year and ask that all players bring the nutrition and hydration needed to make it through the day.

Rest space – in an effort to spread out, please bring your own lawn chairs and blankets so that we can maintain social distancing when resting between matches and while watching the finals.
